hello all,
My name is Brandi Marie Hutchinson and I am currently working on my degree in Elementary Education. I am completely obsessed with Taylor Swift, her music has helped me get through some really tough breakups. My goals would be of course to meet her one day, but also to get my Ph.d. I don't really like planning things out. I am spontaneous and I believe that life will take you where it wants you to go. I have ambitions and I work hard to get where I am going, but I like to take things one step at a time or I get overwhelmed.
As far as my technology background, I never had a computer growing up. I was able to use the computers at school in the ninth grade, but it was very limited. I bought a lap top when I started going to school at USM. I pretty much taught myself most of the things I know. I took a computer class IT 201 in order to pass my BTLE and I learned a little more. I am constantly learning new things about computers, programs, applications, etc. I believe that with the era of children I will be teaching that technology in the classroom will be essential. Almost everything we do these days revolves around technology. It also aids in helped students with disabilities, providing those students with great opportunities to feel like a part of the class. They are also able to participate more and thus expanding their educational experience.
